Girls' Night!

Last night I ventured out to Koi, a local cocktail lounge/nightclub, with Karrie and Leigh. We enjoyed great girl-talk over sushi-type food and yummy overpriced drinks in the lounge, and then headed upstairs to the club area. It was absolutely packed, but we couldn't really figure out why; the music at both dance floors was quite bad, much worse than the last time I was there back in November. The bigger dance area actually had paid "dancers" on the balcony too, women who looked like they jumped out of Flashdance and didn't do a whole lot of actual dancing (perfected hair tosses and high leg raises totally don't count!). However, there was a group of enamoured young men on the balcony next to us who thought these dancing girls were special enough to physically force us out of the way so they could get a better look! One of them actually insisted on being in a photo with us before he returned to ogling - we really have no idea who he is, or why he thought he deserved to be in the picture, but I thought the entertainment value of posting the photo here would be almost priceless. :) (Photo to follow soon - just waiting for them to be developed!) We have concluded that they were undergraduate engineers.
